In a surprising turn of events, Warlock Nate Hawthorne's simple desire for a morning coffee takes an unexpected twist. As he tries to enjoy a peaceful moment, he becomes the target of a pack of werewolves seeking his magical abilities. They mistakenly curse him, leaving him no choice but to seek a mate bond with Ian Armitage, the grumpy and attractive alpha from a rival pack, who despises him. Ian Armitage had never planned on mating with Nate. With a history of distrust towards the Hawthorne family, Ian believes it's necessary to safeguard his own pack. Despite years-long attraction, Ian insists this union is purely practical and not rooted in love. However, as fate brings them together, they must put aside their differences to confront common threats and prevent disaster. As they navigate their complicated relationship, Nate and Ian must learn to cooperate, control their arguments, and resist the temptation between them. Their journey promises an intense M/M paranormal romance filled with witty banter, enchanting surprises like enchanted socks (a tale worth telling), and ultimately, a happily ever after. Rest assured, there will be no mpreg in this series.

XD ... That's some immortal level humor right there... too much to handle for us lowly mortals

I don't care too much about the gender gender swap of the MC like some of the others. I just don't find the writing that good, not enough detail is written into her actions and thoughts to make the world interesting.
IDK if it's related to the translation but the writing just comes off pretty boring, I know much is lost in some translations maybe that is the case here?
