I came across this novel while I was searching for some reading material with strong female character as a lead. I read up a few reviews to determine whether it is worth my time and a lot of them said that the MC isn't strong right from the beginning as a lot of other MCs are. It was obviously a reason for quite few people to give it up but for me it came off as an intriguing point and let me tell you, I'm glad I picked it up for reading.Spoilers ahead:...Yes, the beginning may be a bit confusing. We are starting in McDonald's with MC's best friend when we find out that she has a feeling her boyfriend wants to kill her?! It shocks you. At this point it doesn't seem like anything's out of ordinary with her BF, but more like our MC is either mad or overworked and is having hallucinations. But if you look closely there are a few points where you may start wondering if what she says isn't just a baseless assumption. That is until we get to the scene where he literally tries to kill and eat her. She, of course, kills him on the spot. That is the moment everything starts with the real plot. We discover information about this world and how it all revolves around. The new, I guess we could call it species names Posthumans with some sick supernatural abilities who get transported to another world every 14 months. How they fight for their survival and so on.Characters:Personally, I didn't like MC's BFF from the beginning. I don't know if I had an issue with her personality or whatever but there was always something that kept on bothering me. The part later on where they meet her as a duoluozhong was weird and really uncomfortable. As for Luther, I really miss him. We only had the privilege to see him until like 40th-50th chapter and that's it? He was like the only normal male (apart from the "I can tell if you're lying" guy) and I feel like he didn't have enough screen time... *sighs* I was so fond of him along with Marcie. I hope they are not having any trouble with the 12th personality. *shudders* So violent. There were (and still are of course?) quite a few characters. There are those who I'm fond of and those who I'm not. But overall, I don't feel like there is anything too wrong or unnatural. The author did a good job making them. The world background and whole story line:Well, it's a bit slow paced. I was somehow bored with the game arc. It wasn't satisfying and it felt a bit dragged on. I felt like the whole point of it was for MC to get more active skills but it could've been better executed. That was probably what ticked me off the most. Other than that, there were some situations where I thought the actions of MC or someone else weren't 100% natural but you can overlook it and easily miss those points anyway.Other than that the story is pretty good, although not the best.My conclusion is that I highly recommend for people who are not afraid of occasionaly getting very pi**ed off while reading and those with strong stomach. There isn't a lack of bloody scenes as we are in an apocalyptic environment. Enjoy! ?

This is by far my favourite original work novel on this website. The concept for the story is interesting and the novel is well paced. I enjoy how characters have worth because it is possible for them to die unlike other novels. I really like the direction the novel is now taking with the Monks we're learning there is more to the world of martial arts in Japan than meets the eye. Friends and Foes have depth, personality and each feel unique from each other, which is a huge breath of fresh air from the usual 2D Chinese Villains. This novel has only gotten better as it continues and I can tell the author has improved along the way. I have no qualms with the grammar as I have noticed nothing off. All in All I would highly recommend, I only wish there was more :) Keep up the great work Author-san!

The quality took a tremendously steep rise in quality in Ch 1-20. The story goes into more detail about the cultivation and training process than any novel I read so far. The realism in combat techniques is decent and more than  I can ask for from someone who does not train. Better than immortal mortal in every quality, characters, realism, detail, and generally what the rules for the powers of cultivators are. No pointless exposition and a flawed but likeable mc. Author puts time into his chapters and doesn't mass release in exchange for quality. I can see a rise in quality if the author puts more thought and planning into both how the mc develops his skills, interacts with others, and matures over time. Ideas are good, but execution and taking the time to break down every part of the journey in a fun and interesting way is what makes a truly unique novel. A rival / friend that pushes the mc to greater heights is 100% more interesting than the concept of talent. Please, I love your book, never give it up

I have 2 complaints with this book. 1st is the chapters are too short, I read them too quickly.2nd is there needs to be way way way more chapters.Jokes aside, this is one of the best novels I've read in a long time. the world is captivating, and the pacing is great.I can't wait to see how this world unfolds. It has incredible potential.

Not too shabby. While the beginning stumbles a little as it tries to find its voice, tempo, and emphasis, it eventually settles into its own rhythm.MC could be described as OP while attempting to prove that he is not OP. He always has enough points or luck or items to do everything.  At first, Inn is squished to the side as MC does dumb things on earth, but thankfully, before I lost my patience, Inn returns to center stage, with MC's shenanigans diminished. If the author ever considers rewriting the beginning, it is advised that they devote more time to the inn and either reduce or move the MC's shenanigans later. Many low star reviews are about absence of inn in beginning chapters: “Not even half of the first 20 chapter is actually about the Inn.”/Rappel; “This has great potential right until chapter 10. The author completetly ruined their work.”/KIING (10 chapter introduces cultivators on earth and shifts focus from inn to MC shenanigans on earth); “Forced plot with cultivators and his family.”/Elder; Readers dislike for cultivation probably comes from two facts: it takes away time from the inn and every world and dimension has the same type of cultivation. All worlds have similar feeling. It is almost bad as MassEffect color ending. Choose your world, one has humans, other world has humans and dead humans, third has humans and animals, but all of them have cultivation and humans!  Even none humans look like humans. Overall, readable novel if you don’t mind OP MC, cultivation, and aliens that are all human.
