I enjoy this story. He doesn't run around killing everyone.  They don't talk about "face" all the time.  Not everyone is referred to as a "ten thousand year genius".  It's a nice change of pace.  I always look forward to the new chapter.

wish fulfillment novel delivered poorly, author must be an ******* with no sense of pacing, story is all over the place with a bland mc, stories like this are usually fun to read if written properly but this novel is simple a masterful work of garbage not even worth reading to pass the time

This story starts out really great, but if you are here for the calm, lazy and fluffy (with delicious rice, tea and cute pet) ambiance (like I was), you will be in for disappointment. Having read ahead in the raws, the MC's personality starts to resemble that of Warlock of the Magic World more and more (so if you love the ruthless, no loose ends-no sympathy-no nonsense MC, this is it for you).

The translation quality really lets this magnificent story down (e.g. terms being left in pinyin frustrates me - as i don't know whether the translator is doing that because he is lazy or he is simply oblivious).I recommend the translator spending the time and putting in some effort to go back from the beginning and edit some of the terms used so the story can flow better and provide an overall better experience for the reader.

Kid who was kidnapped at 3 years old, held in terrorist organization hideout and trained brutally for 6 years. Being beaten, forced to train, being brainwashed to be a mindless killer, being thrown into a room with all other kids and told 'last one to survive is free to go' and ends up being the last man standing. After all of this, SWAT raids the hideout and he gets rescued, not only does he have NO trauma, he acts like a grownup while talking with others, he trusts some random man to adopt him, agrees, goes home with the man and after 2 weeks of being there he GETS A FRIEND who is his age. How would a kid with past like that be able to trust anyone, not to mention make a friend? And to top it off, the 'friend' who is martal arts genius, who trained a lot, but only sparred, never had to fight for his life, somehow manages to fight the MC to a tie in a duel? The character design is very, very bad. His background is a massive plothole. No idea why the author would introduce a background like that, only to make the MC 'normal'.

Read 41 chapters so far, and although the plot itself and the grammar are both good, the story is somewhat rushed, the dialogue is a little too long when it should be more spaced out, and the romance is really just not good at all, and is way too rushed without any actual development.

'Indeed the Nara would synergies well with my Shadow Dragon Magic and Quirk, but why the Yamanaka?'
