I feel like the comments are being a bit openly biased.
To be fair, while the start of the novel is quite cr*p, it does get better in the middle and end, unlike a lot of other novels that have a strong start but a weak end.
It’s a relatively simple yet refreshing cultivation novel, as it is simply about a person who wants to do good in the world.
It maybe cliche in some bits and it may take some time for you to get to the good parts, but I still believe it will ultimately be worth your time.
