When i write this i am at chapter 129. I was honestly rating those 5 Categories now, but my personal rating of the whole story would be 0/5.Let me explain you how come i read until 129 if it is that bad. STORY / BACKGROUND The story started quite good, apparently it is playing a few thousand years or so in the future, technology advanced, humans colonized the universe. So far nothing wrong. Cultivation system kinda works in a way, where there are inactive genes in humans and by activating and strengthening your genes you advance. There are all kinds of genes like monkey gene and stone gene (synopsis). So that sounded kinda refreshing and was the reason why i found the novel interesting, thus countinues reading it. Of course there were some trash sections like superiors in a company manually handling a few million subordinates in a personal talk even when a common salesperson AI is so advanced that it could count as artificial human. But well i could overlook this and it atleast not heavily disrupting the flow.A bit further in the story it finally arrived. Racism. From that moment onwards racism suddenly was extremely present in the story. It was not only against other “races” but also against other mythologies (btw race is not a biological concept, something like Chinese race doesn’t exist in biology, this is only narrative and politics).Let me state some examples of racism here. There are some people in the story who have chinese origin but look western, those are commonly named “egg-humans” by the author, fyi.“For Feng Lin to give up on his blood lineage and turn into those disgusting egg-humans? No Way ! This was the baseline he had as a human”. So apparently as long as you are human, obviously your only wish would be to be Chinese. Somewhere between chapter 50-100 racism goes up very steep and I promise you that at chapter 100 it is completely unreadable, you will either completely puke every chapter or become a degenerade. You can try yourself it’s a fine read in the first 50 chapters or so.Also a warning: I´ve read many chinese novels and i know there is rarely one without racism, but comparing those to this one is just... well this one tops them all.TL;TRFirst 50-100 chapter are fine, then the amount of racism and bullshit makes me puke. Stopping at 129.
