Up to chapter 52. This is good, but it's written in an obnoxious way. Author is wordy, they'll go on for a long paragraph or more in narration about a barrier. There will be maybe 3 facts in it, but it'll be 10 sentences at least. Then the characters will just say the narration again in different words, nothing new. They'll have long conversations where they just dance around the main point. Then it won't even say the main point! It will say, "and they came to a decision." Okay, what decision?? Wasn't the point of us reading that conversation entirely to find out the decision? Nope. The author often writes the boring parts of the story and literally SKIPS over the important parts, just briefly summarizing them a chapter or two after they happen. It's mind boggling, like reading LOTR if it just depicted Frodo avoiding questions while packing his suitcase instead of the actual journey. It can't be about mental health. There's 0 psychology, the characters have no real personalities.
