I wanted to give it 5 stars already but then decided to read it first, and my opinion is still 5 stars. Eve's writing is *chef's kiss* and you should definitely try to give it a read. It's not cliche and there's small points in the story that drag you in. If you've liked this novel already, make sure to also read Birth of the Demonic sword! :)

I like the new updated version of Heavens Clan ...

The premise is well thought of and the characters emotions are portrayed in a genuine way.Aside from some minor grammatical errors, this is a gem in the making.Well done and write on.

so far this novel feels dark and interesting. writting is 5/5, author is doing a good job describing other characters as well, lot of things feels mysterious and i like they are not forcefuly explained straight away. I got to ch. 10 and i am super exited about how this will continue

Quickly keeping the useless book inside his clothes, Liu Yang slowly placed his hand on the palm-shaped lock at the center of the doorway.

Mayla shakes her head at me, chuckling, before taking a deep breath. " Seriously though, you should come with me, please? I would be the happiest person the world if you just went with me." (talk about a subject change)She holds her hands up like shes praying, giving me puppy dog eyes.

The gag muffled the sounds of her frightened scream. Her whole body was tense as she began to shake her head and try to beg him not to come near her. She heard a chuckle in her ear, felt his presence horribly close to her body, and continued trying to move away. His hand snaked around her belly and pulled her backwards, in towards his body, and his voice was low and silken as he whispered soothingly to her.
