The ML constantly blames the FL for not beliving in his feelings for her when she was alone for an entire year and he didn't appear until he found out there was a baby? He constantly uses the baby to control her even letting his mother threaten to take custody whenever she feels like it... He knows his mother forced her to divorce him and he never once rebuked his mom and he even keeps around women and men that constantly berate her and cause her problems... You'd have to be one mind broken puppy to believe someone like this genuinely wants you especially when they even admit they don't love you.
