F! This novel really made me laugh the most and I'm still only at chapter 83 at this point. The mc's conversations and interactions with people are really gold, from his teacher to his family, to Sister Qi and some random btches to those 3 police officers and so on lol bruh don't believe the one below, this is not a light comedy at all

So, yea I saw that you were being aggressive in writing that comment, so I wanted to try that out too.
Plus, the book that becomes absolute shit later on part is true.
It does get weird around 200+ chapters and degrades completely by 250(ish) chapters.

The male lead fits the profile of an abuser and female lead is the classic abused victim.  Lucas is a complete piece of utter trash and Adrianne is the doormat who takes his abuse.  Somehow I keep reading this and can’t put it down.  Maybe this is a hate read perhaps?

Very good story.

10/10 good. Just the right amount of everything. Highly recommend!! We need a sequel
