The story setting is really fun but it's a typical novel of this type. The MC doesn't have to put in any effort to learn to create cards, just automatically being able to 'tell' the best way to make them. And, of course, recipe's come just as naturally to him as breathing. No build-up or effort means no satisfaction from the result, which means you might as well remove the crafting part of the setting and just make it action.Character's don't act like people, and they don't interact like people. Conversations are stilted and unnatural with a lot of author self-inserts that cause the conversations to jump from one point to another. The way they communicate is really hard to stomach. It gives me second-hand embarrassment. It just makes it impossible to be engaged with the story. It's unfortunate. I love crafting stories. But this isn't a crafting story. If the author reads this, this would be a good story if you made the crafting something the MC worked towards consistently over the story's timeline and you improved the way characters interact and communicate. Those are the two points that are really dragging the story down.

Idk, I like the idea of the book. However, I just find it really annoying that random ass people just come up to his place and take stuff etc etc. Like idk it's like these people do nothing and just take things from his place... I just find this so fcking annoying. For me, the mc HAS to have some self-respect about himself. There is being kind and then there is grovelling to others, letting them walk all over you etc. This is what the mc is in this book and it is something I cannot stand reading about. Like I don't mind that people come to his place, maybe get to look at stuff etc but to actively take things without even doing anything? That's over the line, there's a difference to looking around admiring compared to taking things. It's like inviting someone to your house and them just taking things from it... Nah, can't stand that. the mc also has to have certain self-respect, some confidence about that he lacks. Hope this makes sense? Just something I want to read about when reading so yeah. My prefrence rly

This is an amazing book the only thing that is lacking is the writing quality everything else is 5/5. It so funny, bloody, and they have an actively ruthless MC, unlike those stories that say the MC is ruthless but leave people alive so that they can come back to kill the MC. The author also listens to the readers and reply, unlike some authors who don't even bother to look at the comments. The character all have unique aspects about themself and the world background is very good. I am also not saying that his writing is lacking to be mean I am just giving an honest review. The author is not a professional. I will write another review when the time calls for it so please don't hate me.  :)

It is a good story if you like a zombie apocalypse world where the MC slowly introduce the background plot and his preparations to once again engage in a bloody battle.

This is a great read! The concepts are generic but written in a novel way. The characters are interesting. The best part of this story is the world building in my opinion as the author has unique ideas as to how the antagonists do things. Grammar could do with some editing though.

After he says that, he looks directly at me and motions for me to walk over. All the other men get up and walk around me to go outside. They don't really pay me any mind so I just move past them. I decide to sit on one of the chairs near the general and get a good look at the map they were looking at. It was an extremely large map with a lot of details.
