The story is okay but incredibly repetitive. The characters don’t need to call each other by first and last name every single time they mention someone. Realistically, nobody does that.
Oh I was just going to comment about chapter 25 when the author said that Yvonne would rather be raped than face the humiliation of Jackson verbally.
rape is an ultimate humiliation no woman is strong enough to accept this.
