He's not really wrong though. So long as the concept is interesting to you it is 100% worth sticking through to the later chapters. I had dropped this novel several times when I was only several hundred chapters in but finally pushed through some of the rough parts and had some faith in Awespec. Now, I've found this to be my current favorite novel and I can't help but come back every day excited for some new chapters.
I still get how annoying it is to be told to basically waste time reading something bad to get some good but when you've read most of everything else you just do what you have to.
