it was good till chapter 40 after that it was like run of the mill son in law novels where he hides his riches and capabilities without any reason. moreover that chu girl's mother can simply investigate about him but out of her character she didn't. everyone thought at first that he is not doing well so he can not be rich but he used to charge ahead like a bull and prove them wrong but this time he is hiding that too is not according to his usual attitude.

Only I Am a Reader is a story about Leo Lock, a boy born with the ability to read books and obtain some of the skills mentioned in them. One day, he was suddenly transported into one of the books he read, and forced to survive until the ending. Overall, a really refreshing infinity-novel. I can't say too much so far, it's a lot slower than your typical infinity-novel, but that arguably makes it better. Hopefully it doesn't fall into the typical pitfalls.Writing quality is above-average, there are still some minor mistakes but everything is readable. (4/5 stars)Story development is pretty good. Both arcs in the first 300 chapters are pretty good, I'm hoping they focus more on the real world after the second arc though. Both stories seem realistic, even if both of them have rather cliché plots. Although it is interesting to see those "cliché plots" get fleshed out more than they normally would. (5/5 stars)The character design I have somewhat mixed feelings about. The characters are good, and most of them are rather 3d. For the most part, they feel like real people. However, due to the fact that the main character is going into novels, there is this ever-present barrier that the author puts around said characters that prevents them from being too fleshed out. Besides that, the main character still hasn't been properly fleshed out, there is a hint of romance at chapter 300, but it is extremely slow. (4/5 stars)World background is great. Obviously, some things are going to remain somewhat unrealistic considering it always has a third-party view on various protagonist's luck. Aside from that, these worlds are fleshed out and make sense, more-so than most infinity novels. (4/5 stars)Overall, novel is pretty great. Unfortunately there's some disconnect with the other worlds that prevent them from being super-great, but that comes along with the genre I suppose. Aside from that, everything is above-average. I give this novel 4.4 stars out of 5.

I’m only 20 ch in so far. Early reviewBiggest issue with the story is it feels like a first work. Writing quality is pretty average. The way females talk to the mc is super annoying. Author also likes to put the stats page in multiple times in a chapter.Mc is pretty naive/ not super intelligent. So far. World background has been lightly explained typical dungeon/dungeon break type situation. I personally like devour / stealing ability type stories. So this has a win.Seems like it is a decent read especially if in between other stories.

The night before, Grandpa J who Brian got familiar with and now called Grandpa, called Brian into the basement to choose various weapon techniques while Grandpa J also chose a sword technique for Brian to learn.  Grandpa J only showed Brian the God Grade techniques he had which overwhelmed Brian thinking about Grandpa J's identity in the cultivation world.  Grandpa J chose a sword technique that had simple but deadly moves.  The technique was called Simple Sword Death and was divides into 3 levels.  The first level of the technique teaches the best stance possible in order to move the lower half of the body in a quick and efficient manner to attack which Brian has been doing for a year.  The second level was only possible when the first level was mastered.  The second level taught how to strike and from which direction.  And the third level showed how to strike the killing blow at the end of the movements.  The technique overall is easily learnable and simply, but the technique is deadly as well.  Simple Sword Death, although simple, had a reason for being God Grade.  Simple Sword Death was a technique which was of the highest effectiveness in killing and was also one of the best set of moves in the 3 worlds which brought out every muscle in the lower bottom of the body and upper chest too.  The technique is the most common sword technique.  Grandpa J chose Simple Sword Death and allowed Brian to choose 3 different Martial Arts or weapon techniques himself.
