Yes they are side stories, but they have some importance if you want to know the full picture and they are fun to read

It's somewhat similar to Release that witch, but only in beginning of the novel. Story and worldbuilding is excellent.

they lowkey made me crap bricks i saw klein moretti in fool house and i died and then the harry potter references they were so blatant and the pun misspellings like white gawd..
