Ignoring the blatant attempt to hook readers with the first 20 chaps before the gender reveal, the novel in itself is quite bad. Problem is, MC starts off by fighting and challenging and growing stronger day by day, only to be turned into a weak damsel who tries to hide their strength for meaningless reasons, and acts like a foolish brat. Like, all the good developments were exchanged for the sake of comedy around sweets. Characters are bad and unilateral, without any depth or complexity to them, especially MC. Always the most useless in most situations, never trying their best at anything, never improving past a point while others breeze past them. Stats slowly become meaningless, with MC never showing what they're capable off to others. At points, it seems like hiding their name and power and acting foolish become the main trope of the novel, without any actual seriousness from MC's side.A complete joke of a novel, with a complete joke of a character, who doesn't show any growth whatsoever. Honestly, even if you can get past the first 20 chaps, there's a lot of other things that quickly make you drop it.
