I Hope - Reviews

I cannot soeak on update stabilty as I started after completion. Overall it was a decent book, the character and world develooment could use a bit of work but is not terible. Personallt, it felt like the story was a bit repetive with the focus being on the recipies and cooking proccess more than the people and world.

I have watched lot of Animation so I don't have much hostility towards Japan or Japanese but some novels have taken the hatred towards Japan to another levels. But this novel has been altogether a good read as MC is from China but focuses on what truly mattered to him not giving his favouritism to any particular place or Country. That is one of thee factor apart from story line which truly attracted me to the novel.

Check out Goblin Kingdom, another story about reincarnating into a Goblin and conquering the world. But it's a japanese novel... .  ........

The problem with this story is how much it repeats itself. You have the story told from the protagonists perspective for 2 chapters then the next 2 chapters are the exact same story told again but with other characters reaction added. This gets tedious pretty fast and results in a glacial plot pace.

The author managed to build a very solid world, the scenarios are well described, I was captivated by the author's writing style, the mystery surrounding the ML and how the stiry unfolds as I read more. So far my advice would be to try reducing some paragraphs.

"Why are they with him!"

"Father, why can't I join a superhuman school? With my powers I'm sure that I could pass the screening." The young lady begged desperately.

Everybody's eyes twitched, such an open accusation.
