The book does not match the synopsis. Damon’s loved ones which includes his sister Grace, are killed in chapter 2. She hardly made an appearance. The story follows Damon as he’s taken alive and there’s a lot of new people introduced all the way up to chapter 87.

Me too, it was the book which introduced me to novels.

This novel is just stupid. From chap 80-110 we already see a battle that feels like the final battle in any other novel. At a point I was just scrolling through wondering when this fight would end so we can go back to the MC getting stronger. But lo and behold, the author already thrusts the MC in another world in CHAP 111!!!!! ALREADY!!!!Like it just feels like the author has no idea what character building is!! We already have a massive battle and a final boss fight in just the first arc??!??!?

Grammer and pronouns are all jumbled and makes it hard to understand if he / she who is thinking etc. interesting story just hard to follow with the Grammer and constant pronoun flip flops/ switches
