Repeated chapters… a lot.

No world building, many errors in spelling and it's as though you have no life experiences at all.

Bro Gu Nan is as unhinged and a lolicon if you care about that. But the unhinged part tho. Like one time, oh! *SPOILER DO NOT READ THIS PART IF YOU PLAN TO READ ASCENDING THE HEAVENS AS AN EVIL GOD* like one time, he made a loli a drug addict and forced her into a room with l*sb**n pedi "sister" of the MC and used that as an blackmailing chip as that would ruin her reputation. Like bro author, how did you even think of that?

What i enjoy the most about this novel is how nonchalant the FL was most of the time, so there's barely any drama in it.

is this book really has an ending?? I cut reading at the start of the daughter of the opera singer and I'm not so sure that this book has really come to an end.

at the early chaps ofc he wont, but he will get character development, yes he is prob thousands of years old in his past lives but do remember that he lived all his life as a demonic cultivator not knowing his true feelings and emotion his only goal was to become stronger and kill his enemies but in the 500ish to 600ish chap of the novel he learns more abt himself and get good character development, i mean you shouldn't just judge a book by its cover
