I'm 17 chapters in and I am getting quite annoyed at what a wuss Serena still is. It is taking so long to reveal just what her relationship with the king will be. Also, her affection for Isaac is not very really brotherly. I keep waiting for them to shag. :/ It feels like a waste of money.

I have been obsessed with the Black Shadow characters since the first book. I can’t get enough of all of them. Until I started reading this book, I didn’t realize how much I want Austin and Lexi’s story.
