Read from the beginning, the anime adapted everything very poorly. Furthermore, the content of the anime came from the Light novel, this is the Web novel so the story should be slightly different and there may not be some characters from the Light novel.

I love it. Jake does a good job of feeling like a human and not a MC...
It is nice that well Jake mostly goes solo the people he works with keep up in power (kinda It's complicated)

This is a very good story that is captivating and inspiring. In my opinion there aren’t that many well written bxb stories on Good Novel but this is an excellent read. I hope the author finds the time to finish Kai and Night’s love story. Looking forward to reading their happy ending hopefully.
