I'm surprised to find this novel so low in the ranking, I've read almost half of it and although it's not the future benchmark for the genre, it's still a very good novel.
The Harem is not a problem (I am a fervent harem hater) since it appears a bit at the very beginning of the novel and is only mentioned a few times afterwards.
