This book is the worst of both worlds where the story is slow paced and not intresting at the same time. Yes it has some decent ideas but you really can’t expect your readers to endure through chapter after chapter of nothingness.I understand the author wants to show realism and wants to slowly build the MC’s personality but I really feel like there has to be better ways to do this. I wont lie the only reason I stuck till chapter 60 was because I really had expectations for the story. I felt I if I could just endure through the early despair phase of the book I would reach the ‘fun’ part and guess what there is no ‘fun’ part till now.The story is just too damn slow. Half of the time while I read the chapters I have to ask myself should I just skip some chapters cause nothing will happen or should I just drop the book cause I really don’t think the book will be worth it. Again you do you author, you know how best to write your book. But I think I have finally given up on this book, I really wished the book was faster paced.
