I’m at chapter 214 and just remembered MC’s pet. Whatever happened to it? It’s been a while since it was last mentioned. Was it just used as a convenient plot device to aid the MC and now that it’s role is to just sell meng, it faded into obscurity?

People don't complain that much about it. I personally don't like the change in translators, even if the quality improves it throws me off.

Mateo and Vera are my favorite couple. I fell in love with the story and characters from the first page. This is an awesome journey

The way the story is narrated is amazing, it helps you picture and imagine the environment in the story as well as the characters, not to mention the good last parts of each chapter where you’ll be engaged to read more. It has very good potential and would like others to read this too.

It’s lovely, though the story got very complicated and too problematic for me, I’m happy I endured and read throughout till the end.
