he isn't naive, but the author has an issue where he regresses character development sometimes for choices the MC makes. Example: Author makes MC make stupid choices to advance the plot. it happens maybe once or twice but is a bit annoying.
It is really a great plot so far. I just hope the author won't punish the FM lead too much and the monsters get away with their heinous deeds for too long. So by the time the end is in sight we as the readers are long time tired of the unfair treatment.
