At Ashmore High School, senior Lily Green leads an unassuming life. As an introverted individual with few friends and a penchant for indulging in romance novels during her study hall breaks, she considers her quiet existence blissful. That changes when she's unexpectedly drawn into the student tutoring initiative. On the day partner assignments are made, Lily steps in to tutor Jeremy Davis, a troubled soul who has been placed in detention. Little did she know, Jeremy carries the weight of deep despair.
