It's not completely unreadable. I finished the whole thing.I regret spending the time on it. It's longer than it needs to be, the characters are absolutely one-dimensional, the plot devices are re-hashed MULTIPLE times, the author repeats the same information over and over and over and over, and the plot armor of the MC could take a shot from the death star without a scratch. There's zero thought put into the actual measurements of...anything (a sword strike few thousand times the speed of light is apparently totally able to miss somebody that is ten TRILLION kilometers tall at point blank range. That's trillion, with a T. Also, TRILLIONS of years go by in the blink of an eye, multiple times. Also, the ending was boring enough I would find myself skimming the text to pick out key words. I love to read, if the end of your novel is less of a "what happens next!" and more of a "bah, I'm 88% in on this 1400+ chapter novel, might as well take the time to finish" then you've failed as an author. It honestly felt like he was trying to pad the novel length, rather than actually improve the quality. Sometimes less is more. However, the translation quality was fantastic. There were some additional footnotes added to explain several of the more esoteric mythology introduced and that was certainly much appreciated.

Great novel author.  A fantasy story with lots of crafting.  I can't wait to read more, especially as you develop the world some more.  I also like his sometimes different uses of his smithy skill.

At that time. Romeo was eighteen then and was following around his father as an apprentice just like his son was following him now.

In the first five chapters I read, I thought the main character was stupid, a simp, and useless. However, I decided to give it a chance and read all the free chapters first, slowly unlocking more. I found that the story kept getting better and better. If I hadn’t continued reading, I might have given up on this story.Honestly, this story is good. It’s true what they say: don’t judge a book by its cover or its opening chapters. This has become one of my favorites now.I really love how the author writes the story, how it progresses, and how well the dialogue is crafted. Yes, I know there are some errors and confusing parts, but that’s typical for a new author. For me personally, a 5-star rating is well-deserved.I can only imagine how awesome this novel would be if it were adapted into an anime. So for everyone who wants to read it, don’t stop at the first or second chapter. There are over 50 free chapters available. Try reading more before making a judgment.

This is so good. An Ning's story is a gripping tale of transformation and empowerment that showcases why I adore all the novels by this author. The protagonist’s journey from being overshadowed to embracing her true self is both inspiring and engaging. The vivid writing captures her emotions, especially during her dramatic confrontation with Feng Yue, showcasing her evolution. I need more!Themes of self-discovery and ambition resonate throughout the narrative, making it a compelling read. Overall, An Ning's story masterfully blends drama and depth, drawing readers into a world where rivalry fuels personal growth. It's a must-read for anyone who enjoys stories of resilience and transformation, and it perfectly reflects the brilliance of this author's work!
