A powerful government institution established during Emperor Wu's reign, operating for over a century. It oversees accounts of the Six Ministries and financial records of all merchants in Dayu. It answers only to the Emperor and is responsible for fundraising for Beidi. The Minister of the Supervisory Department has always been a woman since Emperor Wu's time.
