A cleaning method devised by Pei Yanshu for cleaning dye vats efficiently. It involves three approaches: soaking the left vat in hot water for two quarters of an hour, using a stiff brush directly on the middle vat with hardened grime, and simply wiping the right vat with a damp cloth since it only has surface dust.
