A round red-skinned tuber traded from a northern tribe, called sweet head root. Yu Yan identified it as a sugar beet for sugar production. Only five were traded, each costing three animal skins. Mo Ye brought them specifically for Xue Fei. Yu Yan considered soaking and cutting them to propagate but couldn't bring himself to ask since they were a token of affection.
