Chi Ying brought a storyboard script to show Zhou Yan since the film editing was not yet complete. The storyboards were remarkably well drawn and included an illustration of the male and female leads meeting again on a pedestrian overpass, which helped Zhou Yan understand the concept of loneliness amid noise.
