The entrance assessment of Eastern Ridge Lingshu which included a written exam, talisman test, elixir test, and martial combat test. Lin Lumi scored full marks on the written exam and was exceptionally admitted directly into the inner sect, exempt from the other three tests. The assessment also has a rule allowing disciples to petition for re-evaluation and demand a public duel.
