The trademark and packaging patents for Qiqi soda owned outright by Binfen. Qibao only held an exclusive licensing contract due to expire end of February, with a supplementary agreement extending exclusivity until 2015. Binfen alleged the contract was fraudulent and signed through bribery to invalidate it.
