Xiao Cheng returns unexpectedly and personally interrogates his subordinate Qiao Er Mazi (Qiao Mao) for stealing goods. Jiang Yan tortures him brutally—breaking his arm, cutting his hand down to the bone, and breaking his leg. Xiao Cheng then tortures him further by grinding a cigarette butt into his skin. Despite Qiao Er Mazi confessing and begging for mercy, Xiao Cheng coldly orders him to be disposed of cleanly.
