A bundle of Hua Zhiyun's hair sent by the wet nurse to Su Wanmei. It was poisoned, causing anyone who touched it to develop unbearable itching and red rashes. In severe cases the poison could be fatal. Su Wanmei cut and burned it in a rage, triggering the poisoning.
