A flower with roots growing in mud, brought by the Mingyuan Tribe as a gift. The crispy pink root can be sliced and stir-fried or eaten cold; older roots can be steamed. It can also be processed into lotus root powder (starch). Lotus shoots grow in the mud and are edible in season.
