Two paintings hanging high in Pei Di's inner chamber. One depicted a youth in red riding a galloping horse, full of spirit and vigor, slightly yellowed from many years. The other depicted a young girl sleeping soundly in a pavilion among blooming flowers, with a cinnabar mole at the center of her brow.
