An old photograph taken many years ago at the entrance of the main church in the monastery. Most faces were scribbled over with a marker heavily enough to go through the paper. Only two faces remained intact: young Xiao Yu in the center with a bright sunny smile, and young Leon in the corner looking ferocious. Leon treasured this photo and placed it in his suitcase.
