China's first ocean-going fishing fleet organized by the China National Fisheries Corporation in March, consisting of 13 trawlers and 223 crew members. It set out from Fujian, endured over 50-degree temperatures in the Red Sea and sea mine threats in the Gulf of Suez, and arrived in West Africa on April 29 after a 54-day voyage.
