A planned ceremony for Shang Beize and Su Yundai to be together publicly, scheduled during the May Day holiday. Shang Beize wanted to host it at their villa with a small circle of guests. Su Yundai agreed on the condition that no friends of her brother Wei Lin would attend, though Shang Beize noted that few of Wei Lin's friends even knew her.
