Also known as Yin-Yang Toxin in Chinese medicine, this is the disease Mei Suqin suffers from. It causes frequent oral ulcers, red patches on the face, and would eventually develop into kidney failure. It is incurable unless there is an organ transplant, which is why Mei Suqin wants Bei Qinghuan's kidney.
