Seven enormous kites crafted by the seven Xu cousins for Jiang Yihuan to fly at Leyou Plain. Pei Nianfang had her own tiny orchid-shaped kite. The kites were shaped like butterflies, dragonflies, and birds. Flying kites was the activity that cheered up Jiang Yihuan after Wei Zhao's departure.
