A plot by Old Madam Lu, Lu Xinlian, and Lu Shuxian to separate Lin Wan and Lu Zhengting from the main household. Their goal is to redirect family resources toward Xinlian since they cannot defeat Lin Wan directly. They plan to kick Lin Wan and her brother out so Old Madam Lu can regain control of her other sons' households.
