A sharpened hatchet tucked into Lin Wanxing's waist and a machete she carries outside the cave. She uses the hatchet to kill the venomous snake by striking its vital point. She also swings it against a tree trunk to create vibrations to scare the snake. The machete is used to cut tall grass and clear the cave.
