A root with a prickly and pungent taste, used by Yu Yan to marinate fish and beast meat to remove fishy and gamey smells before cooking. It is stored by tribe members from the previous autumn and winter. Yu Yan taught Xin Yu how to use it, and the method spreads excitement among the gathering team.
