A chipped coarse porcelain bowl used to carry boiling dark brown medicine for Qin Shu. Qin Yan deliberately knocked it over with her elbow, spilling the scalding liquid onto Qin Shu's right hand and causing burns with blisters. The bowl shattered into pieces, and Qin Shu silently picked up the sharp fragments with her uninjured left hand, cutting her fingertips.
