Originally called earthy stone, found by the Peninsula Tribe. Yu Yan identified it as aluminum ore. It produces a lighter, softer silver-gray knife suitable for cutting tubers and fruits but not bone. Yu Yan noted it would be great for making heat-resistant pots and bowls.
