Zuo Kai is a member of the writers' group, likely a male author. He sits across from Qingya and Su Yuyou at the bar and cannot help but glance at Su Yuyou repeatedly. Qingya notices his look and quickly excuses Su Yuyou to the restroom. Later, when Su Yuyou is harassed, she spots Zuo Kai in the crowd but he does not help. He disappears along with Su Yuyou's absence.
