Madam Zhuang, the eldest sister-in-law of the Lu family. Her mother was poisoned while pregnant with her and died giving birth. She suffered from chronic illness due to her stepmother's neglect during childhood. She married the eldest master of the Lu family and is known for her serene, kind, yet cold and detached demeanor toward the second and third branches. She cares only for her husband and children. Her natal Zhuang family in Ancheng no longer exists.
