A Tianluo Decree official who commands five thousand men and holds considerable authority. He is investigating the disruption of Shen Qiongzhi and the Willow Tree Demon outside Jiangzhou City. He suspects Shao Yanzhe may be responsible and uses a magical spider for surveillance. He is confident in his abilities and acts somewhat independently to avoid troubling Chief Assistant Gu. After his spider is eaten, he leaves to investigate the demon's origins.
