A person who appeared at the mountain stronghold in the past, around the same age as Zang Huan. He was smart and opinionated but made up stories about his ancestral home when asked. No one in the nearby villages had seen him before, and when others from his supposed village were asked, they had never seen him. Zang Yan was wary of him and suggested Liujiang be careful, warning that someone who came out of nowhere and wasn't honest probably had sinister intentions. However, Liujiang didn't listen. Something bad happened as a result, which Zang Yan still resents and blames on Liujiang's stubbornness.
